Size does matter!I am not normally big on setting New Year's resolutions or writing down goals at the beginning of a new year. Normally, I will have some thoughts in my mind on what I hope to accomplish but don't write them down.
I am not sure what has come over me but this year is different. I sat around during the holidays and a whole group of goals for this year came flooding into my mind. So I wrote them down. Last year really got away from me and the year slipped by so quickly with many things left undone. Perhaps that is why I am getting more discipled about goals this year. I don't want the year to slip away from me.
I took a lot of photographs last year, particularly with all the traveling I did. Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Malaysia, Thailand, London, Ecuador, El Salvador, ah......, I can't even remember all the places I traveled to last year. However, I took the photographs and but then just loaded them to my Drobo (4 terabyte staorage device) and they have just sat there. I have done nothing with them.
One of my many goals for 2013 is to do more photography. Not just take photos but to edit, print, mount, matte and frame them. I have been working revising and setting up my home photography workspace. Today I got my printer operational again.
It was exciting. There is just something special about editting a photograph and then printing it out. For me, the print always exceeds having an image on a computer screen. Not only did I make prints, I printed the largest image I have ever printed from my printer. The photograph looked awesome.
Size does matter! And bigger is better!
I can't wait to make more prints, and more bigger ones! It is going to be a great year!
